Medical Marijuana
Following the passage and enactment of HB10-1284 (Concerning regulation of medical marijuana) a number of counties have inquired how their peers around the state are approaching the issues of regulation and possible prohibition. CCI staff has been talking to the Colorado Association of County Attorneys (CACA) as they have been discussing and debating approaches as well. CCI has also received several requests for sample resolution and ballot language for consideration by staff and boards.
Included below are several draft resolutions currently being considered by counties, as well as some draft ballot language. CACA has also initiated a survey of counties to assess what kinds of actions are being taken – the results of the survey are captured in the table below.
CCI will continue to update the table and provide more examples as we become aware of them. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate Eric Bergman at 303.861.4076 or ebergman@ccionline.org.
